SALEM - Mrs. Maria A. (Gutierrez) Minaya 63 of Salem, Beloved wife of Humberto Minaya, died Saturday morning, April 13th, 2013 at Salem Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born in the Dominican Republic she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Lora) Gutierrez. She was raised and educated in the Dominican republic and immigrated to the United States over 45 years ago. She resided in New York and has been a resident of the City of Salem since 1979.

Mrs. Minaya had been employed at Parker Brothers as an assembler for eight years until the time of her retirement.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Maria was a long time member of the catholic community in Salem and the Immaculate Conception Church in Salem. She will be deeply missed.

In addition to her loving husband of 48 years, Maria is survived by her daughter, Delaida Minaya of Salem, her son, Humberto Minaya Jr. of Cape Cod, her thirteen grandchildren, her six great grandchildren, her sisters, Maria Rosa of Salem and Maria Selsa of Salem, her brothers, Ramon Gutierrez of Salem and Felix Gutierrez of Salem and many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral Mass will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd., Salem, Wednesday, April 17th at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited.
