Mary (Lawson) Sitomer

MIDDLETON – Mrs. Mary (Lawson) Sitomer, 87 of Middleton, loving wife of the late James Louis Sitomer passed away peacefully on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Exeter Hospital with her family by her side.

Born in Morristown, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Clement and Winifred (Chamberlain) Lawson. Mary attended private school graduating from Northfield Mount Hermon School and continued her education at Tufts University and Northeastern University earning her bachelor’s degree.

A loving and devoted wife, mother and mimi, Mary loved her family and dedicated her life to providing a warm and nurturing home for her children. In her younger years, Mary worked alongside her husband assisting him in office management as he ran his engineering company G&S Systems. Deeply devoted to her faith, Mary was a longtime member of Middleton Congregational Church and dedicated many years as a leading member of the choir at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Mary’s kind heart and amazing spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mary is survived by her children, Ann Sitomer and her husband Erik of OR, Paul Sitomer of Kingston, NH, James Sitomer and his wife Bonnie of Somersworth, NH and Amy Sitomer-Fuller of Middleton, her grandchildren, Eric Sitomer and Hunter Sitomer both of Kingston, NH, Rachel Sitomer of Dover, NH, and Jared Fuller and Jessica Fuller both of Middleton, her sister, Anne Hershey of VA and brother, John Lawson and his wife Joanna of NJ and several nieces and nephews. Mary was the mother of the late Eric Sitomer and sister-in-law of the late Alan Hershey.
