SALEM – Mrs. Nancy Ann (Condon) Massero, 86 of Salem, beloved wife of the late Francis James Massero, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 at the Devereux House in Marblehead.
Born in Salem, Nancy was the daughter of the late John Alma and Florence (Blander) Condon. She was raised and educated in Salem, attending St. Mary’s Catholic School and was a graduate of Salem High School.
Mrs. Massero dedicated her professional career as a bookkeeper. She was extremely detail oriented and efficient at her career working for Salem Suede until the time of her retirement.
Throughout her life, Nancy enjoyed needle point embroidery and had a talented eye for artistic detail. She loved square dancing and traveling all over with her husband, often visiting Bermuda many times throughout their lives. She was a loving wife and a kind and caring mother and grammy who will be deeply missed.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Tina Zolla and her husband, Mark of Salem; her son, James Massero and his wife, Sheri of Maine; her grandchildren, Jamie, Christopher, Jeffrey and Steven and great-grandchildren, Landon, Jazmine, Colebeck, Violet, Bree, Hadley, Logan, Evelyn, Nicholas, Carter and Colton. She was the mother of the late Thomas Massero, and sister of the late Jean Foley and Lee Operaman.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend Nancy’s funeral which will be held from O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) SALEM on Wednesday, May 31st at 9 A.M. followed by her funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd., Salem at 10 A.M.
