SALEM – Mrs. Olga L. (Karoluk) Hincman, 89, passed away on Friday, October 20th, 2023 at Devereux Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Louise (Emmett) Karoluk. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick S. Hincman, with whom she celebrated 39 years of marriage.
A life long resident of Salem, Olga graduated from Salem High School, class of 1951. After graduation she worked as a window dresser for Daniel Low & Company in Salem, and went on to work for G.T.E. Sylvania for 30 years before the time of her retirement.
Olga loved spending her time in the sun at the beach, one of her favorites being Old Crow II in Salem. She was happiest spending time with her family, especially shopping trips with her granddaughters. Always a positive person, Olga’s smile was infectious, she could brighten up any room she walked into.
She is survived by her two children; Steven Hincman and his wife, Sandra of Salem, and Diane Hincman of Salem, along with her granddaughters; Samantha Lynne Hincman and Lyndsey Nicole Hincman, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her beloved husband, Frederick Hincman, Olga is preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Karoluk and her brother, George Karoluk.
