Patricia A. (Nolan) Butler

SALEM - Mrs. Patricia Ann (Nolan) Butler of Salem and beloved wife of the late Thomas P. Butler III, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 5th, 2022, at Salem Hospital of natural causes.

Patricia was born in Lynn, MA on July 29th 1934 the daughter of the late James and Anna (Pitman) Nolan. She was raised and educated at St. Mary’s in Lynn.

Following high school graduation, Pat enrolled in the Salem Hospital Nursing program where she received her R.N. certification. She made many lifelong friends with the many nurses she worked with. She married the love of her life Tom in 1958 and celebrated 63 years of marriage. They took many trips to Europe and Florida over the years.

Patricia was active in her Catholic faith. She could always be counted on, what Saint to pray to for help or the many expressions the Nuns would refer to on life lessons. She enjoyed spending time doing crossword puzzles, reading books and attending Garden Club meetings. The most important thing in her life was spending time with her family!

Patricia is survived by her children Thomas P. Butler IV and wife Dawna, Daniel J. Butler and wife Kimberly, Martin E. Butler and wife Suzanne, Dianne Brennan and husband Thomas, Allison Larrow and husband Jay. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Thomas Butler V, Alexandra Butler, Victoria Butler, Rory Butler, Brenna Butler, Jacqueline Butler, Cody Butler, Thomas Brennan, Andrew Brennan, Matthew Brennan, Sean Larrow, Megan Larrow, Maura Larrow and Peter Larrow. Also survived by her sister Lorayne Mohammed and her late brother James Nolan.
