Patricia Davidson Obituary

SALEM - Mrs. Patricia (Holloran) Davidson 76, wife of John Peter Davidson, died peacefully with family by her side at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, after a courageous battle with cancer on November 19th, 2021.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Claire and Charles Holloran Sr. Pat attended Salem Schools and graduated from Salem High School, Class of 1963. She went on to graduate from Salem Hospital School of Nursing, where Pat met the love of her life, John Peter.

Patricia had a calling to be a Nurse from an early age, never wanting to be anything else. Her career was mostly as an Operating Room Nurse and for many years worked at West Houston Medical Center in Texas prior to the time of her retirement. Patricia and her family resided in Houston, TX for many years returning to Salem, following her retirement.

Pat was a gracious lady, who lived a simple life. She liked to cook, enjoyed traveling, listening to Elvis Presley music and loved animals. Following her retirement, she enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends through Facebook and she would spend time on the Internet playing games and puzzles. Pat's greatest joy came in caring for her family.

Pat was the loving mother of Kristin M. Davidson of Los Angeles, CA and Mark P. Davidson of Euless, TX and his fiancée, Ning Sengsouvanh. Pat is also survived by her grandchildren; Jonathan Davidson, Hannah Davidson and Jenna Davidson, all of Texas. Pat will be truly missed by siblings, Ronald Holloran and wife, Barbara of Peabody, C. Michael Holloran and wife, Debra of Beverly, M. Renee Holloran-Brewer and husband, Scott of Salem and Charles R. Holloran Jr. and wife, Gail of Peabody. Pat also leaves a sister-in-law, Judy Tremblay of Florida and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Richard Holloran Sr., her mother-in-law, Alberta Davidson, father-in-law, John "Jack" Davidson and her nephews, Ronald R. Holloran Jr. and Michael Holloran. She leaves behind many additional relatives and dear friends who will love and miss her forever. Pat will always be in our hearts.

The family would like to thank her medical team at Mass General Cancer Center for their wonderful care of Pat throughout her fight. We would also like to thank the caring staff and volunteers at the Kaplan Family Hospice House for the wonderful care they provided during her final days.
