WORCESTER - Mr. Paul Marescalchi, 48, of Worcester formerly of Salem, died following a brief illness at UMass Memorial Medical Center on Wednesday August 12th 2015 surrounded by his family.

Paul was the beloved son of Shirley and Richard Marescalchi of Salem, devoted brother of Christine Malewicki and her husband Paul of Jacksonville Florida, his twin sister Pamela Marescalchi of Wake Forest, North Carolina and his sister Lisa Marescalchi of Salem and her fiancé Thomas Frithsen. Paul is also survived by his cherished nieces, Taylor, Kiley and Holly Malewicki, aunts, uncles, cousins and godmother, Carol as well as many special friends.

Paul was born and raised in Salem. He was a graduate of North Shore Vocational High School class of 1985. He had been employed with A & E Eagle Snacks of Danvers as a sales representative and most recently was employed at UMass Memorial Medical Center of Worcester as a Research assistant.

It is with great sadness that we say "goodbye" to Paul. He had a very special view of the world and it was simply one rooted in love and hope. His three sisters will never forget growing up with their mostly unpredictable, but always entertaining only brother. "Our son had the rare gift of " constant optimism" and we will always be thankful for his presence in our lives. God bless you, Paul."
