Phyllis A. Walton

BEVERLY- Ms. Phyllis A. Walton, 77, of Beverly, MA, formerly from the Bronx, NY, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. She passed peacefully in her sleep.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry Walton and Nellie (Tibbs) Walton. She was raised and educated in New York and was a graduate of John Adams High School.

A loving mother and grandmother, Phyllis cherished the time she spent with her family and was truly happiest when surrounded by them. She was devoted to her faith and was a longtime member of Crossroads Tabernacle in the Bronx, NY. She will be remembered for her devotion of family and faith and deeply missed by her family and friends.

Surviving Phyllis is her daughter, Tanya Rios-Wise of Boca Raton, FL, her son, Ralph Anthony Rios of San Diego, CA and several grandchildren including Krystina Rios who had spent the past several years caring for her in the home they shared. Phyllis was predeceased by her brother James Walton and her son James Joseph Rios.
