TOPSFIELD - Mrs. Priscilla A. Gamble 94, of Topsfield, beloved wife of the late William T. Gamble, died Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Hathorne Hill Nursing Home in Danvers. Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Leonard and Coreen (Rich) Pace. She was raised and educated in Topsfield and was graduate of Topsfield High School. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Priscilla was devoted to her family. She took great pride in providing a warm and loving home. A lifelong resident of the Town of Topsfield, Mrs. Gamble was a long-time member of the Congregational Church of Topsfield and the Topsfield Council on Aging. She enjoyed spending her time knitting, gardening and sewing. Her family will treasure the many afghans, quilts and sweaters she crafted by hand over the years. Her love was her greatest treasure and she will be deeply missed. Priscilla is survived by her sons, Richard Gamble of Amesbury and Andrew Gamble and his wife Susan of Royal Palm Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, David Willis of Concord, New Hampshire, Matthew Willis of Haverhill, Jessica and Nicole Gamble of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, Jonathan Gamble of Andover, Emily Gamble of Waynesville, Missouri and Richard Gamble Jr. of Walpole; her great grandchildren, Alaina and Josephine of Haverhill and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Patricia Gamble, William T. Gamble Jr. and David Gamble and sister of the late Leonard Pace.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service which will be held graveside in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Topsfield, Wednesday, June 20th at 10 A.M.. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Priscilla's memory to the Topsfield Council on Aging, 8 W Common St., Topsfield, MA 01983.
