SALEM - Mr. Rafael Antonio Brito, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, July 19th, 2022 at his home.
Born in San Jose De Ocoa, Dominican Republic, He was the son of the late German Brito Tejeda and Ayde. He was raised and educated in the Dominican Republic and immigrated to the United States.
An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was very proud of his service to his country.
Mr. Brito had been employed with the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier in New York until the time of his retirement. More recently he had been a resident of the City of Salem.
A strongly independent and proud man, he was devoted to his family and supported them in everything they did.
Rafael is survived by his brothers and sisters and his many nieces, nephews and extended family, with whom he was extremely close with. He will be deeply missed.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held graveside, in the veterans section (Chapel Hill), at Greenlawn Cemetery, Orne St., Salem, Wednesday, July 27th at 11 A.M. Military honors will be rendered. Relatives and friends invited. Please meet at the main gate by 10:45 A.M.
