Richard C. Bryant

PEABODY – Mr. Richard C. Bryant, of Peabody, died on Tuesday, October 13th, 2020; he was age 87 and the beloved husband of Katherine M. Foley. 

Richard was a long-time resident of Wakefield, MA, before moving to Danvers in 1991. He was married for 30 years to the late Marilyn Lyman Bryant, who died in 1987. 

He is survived by his three children from that marriage, Thomas L. Bryant and his wife, Christina Meyer, of Whippany, NJ, Michael R. Bryant, of Murrieta, CA, and Suzanne R. Bryant and her husband, Steve Hannan, of Hernando, FL, and by his second wife, Katherine M. Foley, and his three step-sons, William S. Foley and his wife Aileen, of Bastrop, TX, Dr. Matthew Foley and his wife, Dr. Susan Sundstrom, of Woodstock, VT, and Dr. John V. "Jay" Foley and his wife, Alexa, of Reno, NV.  He is also survived by seven beloved grandchildren, Caley and Daniel Bryant, Caitlin Morris, Keanan, Devon, Quinten and Jameson Foley, and by two great-grandchildren, Anaiyah Foley and Casey Morris.

He was a graduate of Tufts University and of Northeastern University, where he received advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, he spent more than 34 years as a registered Professional Engineer and manager at the General Electric Company in Lynn, MA, retiring in 1993.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., Danvers, MA 01923, Monday, October 19^th from 4 to 6 P.M.
