SALEM- Mrs. Rita B. (Conwell) Turcotte, 95 of Salem, beloved wife of the late John R. Turcotte, passed away Thursday May 21, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Georgianna (Sansoucy) Turcotte. She was raised and educated in Salem and remained a lifelong resident.

Over the years Mrs. Turcotte had been employed at S.S. Pierce as a sales clerk and for several years she helped the elderly with their housekeeping.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, family was paramount. Rita cherished the times spent with them and hosted weekly dinners and many holiday celebrations to make sure they all got together. She delighted in preparing her favorite dishes and recipe’s and sharing her traditions for the family to pass on to the many generations to come. Having her family close, providing a warm and loving home, and sharing in many family activities is what she loved most. Always with a smile and kind word, Rita will be remembered for her generosity, her love of family and her willingness to help others and will be deeply missed by her loving family and many friends.

Surviving Rita is her daughter, Patricia Quadros and her husband Robert of Salem, her sons, Robert Turcotte of Beverly, Kenneth Turcotte and his wife Gail of Beverly, and Raymond Turcotte and his wife Donna of Hudson, NH, her grandchildren, Denise Nosari, Cheryl Spears, Jason Turcotte, Michael Turcotte and Julie Turcotte, her great-granddaughter, Lidia Turcotte and 4 great-grandsons, Colin Nosari, Chase Nosari, Colton Spears and Owen Turcotte.

ARRANGEMENTS: Rita’s funeral services will be held privately. Assisting the family with the arrangements is The O’Donnell Funeral Home, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem. Sharing written remembrances and condolences, during this time will be essential in helping Rita’s family reminisce, celebrate and heal.
