BEVERLY- Mr. Robert A. Taeger, 60, of Beverly, passed away unexpectedly after a hard-fought battle with cancer on Monday, March 22, 2021at his home.
Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Donald and Dolores (Armstrong) Taeger. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School.
A machinist by trade, Robert had been employed by Microline Surgical in Beverly for several years and later by Temco Corp of Danvers until the time of his retirement.
A keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic, Robert was often sought after by friends and family to help with their home repair projects. He was a gifted carpenter and was truly a jack of all trades. Robert was fun loving with an outgoing personality that endeared him to many, was an avid sports fan, especially when cheering on the Patriots and enjoyed fishing with his son and brothers. He will be fondly remembered for his love of family, his ability to make others laugh and will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.
Surviving Robert is his son, Robert A. Taeger Jr., and his companion Chloe Wallingford of Danvers, his grandson, Noah Taeger of Danvers, his longtime companion Janet Tennison, and his brother, Kerry Taeger of Peabody. He was also the brother of the late Ricky Taeger and Glenn Taeger.
