BEVERLY - Mr. Robert Kenneth Marchand, 76 of Beverly, beloved husband of Alice (McInnis) Marchand passed away on Wednesday, February 20th at Beverly Hospital, with his family by his side. Born in Brighton, he was the son of the late Richard and Cecilia (Picard) Marchand. Raised and educated in Salem, he attended Salem Public Schools and was a graduate of Salem High School class of 1959. Mr. Marchand was a self-employed contractor for many years. His talent and skilled craftsmanship was appreciated and requested throughout the many communities along the North Shore. A loving and dedicated husband, father and papa, Robert's greatest joy was his family. He loved his grandchildren and relished in their many accomplishments. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends. Robert is survived by his wife of 57 years, Alice Marchand of Beverly, his daughters, Cheryl Marchand of Beverly and Kate Hennigar and her husband Joe of Windham, NH, his sons, Robert Marchand and his wife Debbie of Newton, NH and Stephan Marchand and his wife Nicole Liberage of Beverly, his 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and his brother, Raymond Marchand of FL. He was the brother of the late Richard Philip Marchand.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers on Sunday, February 24th from 3 to 6 P.M.
