DANVERS – Mrs. Rose M. (De Lorenzo) Czarnecki 90, of Danvers, died peacefully at Ocean View Assisted Living in Beverly, MA on Friday, April 17, 2020.
Born in Beverly, the youngest of seven children, of the late Gaetano and Maria Carolina (Serra) De Lorenzo, she was raised and educated in Beverly and was a 1947 graduate of Beverly High School.
Rose had been employed with the Telephone Company as an administrative office assistant for over 25 years, as well as being associated with Salem Hospital in the Food Services Division for over 10 years, until the time of her retirement.
A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Rose was known for her cooking prowess. She took great pride in creating delicious meals for family and friends. It was how she shared her love through delicious home-made feasts. She also enjoyed knitting her beautiful gifts of crocheted blankets.
Rose is survived by her sons, Ronald Czarnecki and his wife Sandra of Salem, Joseph Czarnecki and his wife Kathleen of Danvers and Michael Czarnecki and his wife Priscilla of Danvers, her grandchildren, Alyssa Czarnecki-Duplissie and her husband Bryan of Danvers and Michael Czarnecki of Danvers, her great granddaughter, Aurora Grace Duplissie, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Katherine Stone, Concetta Camarda, Beatrice Chenery, Antonio, John and Joseph DeLorenzo, and wife of Fred Czarnecki, the father of her three sons.
She was embraced in her final months by the staff of Ocean View in Beverly and the wonderful care-giving of Care Dimensions.
ARRANGEMENTS: The Czarnecki family will be holding a public Funeral Mass and Celebration of Life Service to which all will be invited, at a date and time to be announced. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
