MANLIUS, NEW YORK & NEWBURYPORT – Ms. Sharon Elizabeth (Adams) Kingsley, 72, of Manlius, New York, formerly of Newburyport, died peacefully, Monday, May 29th, 2023 with her family by her side.
Born in Syracuse, New York, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Wooster) Adams. She was raised and educated in Manlius, New York and was a graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School. She continued her education earning her degree from Endicott College.
Ms. Kingsley had been employed for many years with the Sears Company.
Sharon was blessed with an artistic gift. She expressed that gift through many mediums. Her talents in painting and watercolors especially showed her artistic acumen as well as in the mediums of tole painting and porcelain doll making. She was an avid counted cross stitcher and enjoyed spending her time gardening. Many hours were spent creating a beautiful perennial garden for all to enjoy. She had love in everything she created and shared her eye for beauty with all. An avid collector of Longaberger Baskets and handmade quilts, which adorned her home, were often her choice for gifts. Above all else, her love of family was at the heart of her life and whom she was. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Sharon is survived by her devoted son, Jason Kingsley and his wife, Jannie of Hamilton, her beloved grandchildren, Maisie and Cody Kingsley, her brother, Gordon Adams and his wife, Lynn of Columbia, MD and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held and announced in the future.
