OVIEDO, FLORIDA- Mrs. Shirley Mazeika 94 of Oviedo, Florida, formerly of Salem, beloved wife of the late Francis Mazeika, died peacefully November 23, 2016 in Oviedo, Florida. Born in Danvers on October 1, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Mary (Chase) Putnam. She was raised and educated in Danvers. In her adult years, Shirley moved to Salem and married Francis Mazeika and started her family. She was devoted to her husband and family. Following their retirement they moved to Oviedo, Florida. She enjoyed singing in her church choir, writing poetry, and playing cards and socializing with her many friends. She will be deeply missed. Shirley will be missed by her sons, Peter Mazeika and his wife Shirley of Oviedo, Florida, Chester Mazeika and his wife Joyce of Manchester, N.H., her three grandchildren and her three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the wife of the late Frank Mazeika, mother of the late Michael Mazeika and sister of the late Otis Putnam.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, North St., Salem/Peabody line, on Saturday, September 23rd at 11 A.M., followed by her burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
