Stephen J. Lewis

SALISBURY – Mr. Stephen James Lewis, 66 of Salisbury, beloved husband of Nancy A. (Carabineris) Lewis passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Port Healthcare Center in Newburyport.

Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late Lester James and Ruth (Larrabee) Lewis. Raised and educated in Beverly, he attended Beverly Public Schools.

For several years, Stephen had been employed as a window cleaner for Salem Window and Floor Cleaning and later worked in Maintenance for Beverly Common Housing Complex. Always willing to help others, Stephen took pride in being able to provide labor services.

A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, Stephen loved his family and the time he was able to spend with them. He loved being outdoors and was fascinated by eagles and truly had a passion for them. He will be missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his wife Nancy of Salisbury, Stephen is survived by his daughter, Sharyn E. Lewis and her partner Jason Woodman of Salisbury, his son, Shawn Michael Lewis of Seabrook, NH and his granddaughter, Juliana Grace Lewis and several cousins. He was the brother of the late Bruce Warren Lewis.

ARRANGEMENTS: FUNERAL SERVICES UPDATED: Relatives and friends are invited to attend Stephen's funeral service which will be held from the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 12 (Noon). Visiting hours prior to his service from 10 A.M. to 12 (Noon). All attendees are required to wear face coverings, practice social distancing and are respectfully asked for no physical contact with the family. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Stephen’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
