Susan Andrea Alukonis

DANVERS – Susan A. Alukonis, 61, of Danvers passed away Thursday, November 17th, 2022. Born in Kingston, RI, she was the daughter of Robert Alukonis and Nancy (Wall) Alukonis.

Susan was educated in Michigan, attending Grosse Pointe High School, graduating with the class of 1979. Susan always had a love for art, and went on to further her education at the University of Michigan, graduating in 1983 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design.

Susan loved cinema, art, history, writing, spending time with her family (including Winifred, the fat and lovable cat) and painting with watercolors. Susan’s original screenplay, titled The Lashes Dark, was a semifinalist in the Blue Cat screenplay competition in 2008. Susan was a caring and generous person who devoted time to taking care of her family and will be missed dearly.

In addition to her parents, Robert and Nancy, Susan is survived by her sisters; Karen Sleifer and her partner, Dan Vuksanic of Brick, NJ, and Laura Sawyer of Colchester, CT. She will be missed by her nieces, Erica and Alison, and her nephews, Jeremy and Kevin. Her dear friends Lisa and Lucian DiPietro were always in her heart.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022, at O’Donnell Cremations - Funerals - Celebrations, 167 Maple St. (Rte. 62) DANVERS.
