PEABODY - Mr. Thomas J. O'Neill Jr. 84, of Peabody, died Friday, January 19, 2018. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Thomas Sr. and Blanche (Foglietta) O'Neill. He was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Essex Agricultural School. He continued his education at Cornell University on the G.I. bill following his service to his country. An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. Mr. O'Neill had been employed as a Draftsman for many years until the time of his retirement. A longtime resident of the City of Peabody, Tom enjoyed spending his time gardening and fishing. He was a talented artist who loved to paint. He was a devoted brother and uncle who will be deeply missed. Tom is survived by his niece, Sheryl Lees and fiancé William Langmaid of Newbury, his nephews, Will Campbell of Peabody and Don Campbell of Las Vegas, his great nieces, Melanie Lees and Arielle Campbell and his great nephew Dean Lees and his nieces' husband, Alfred Hook. He was the uncle of the late Suzanne Hook and Dean Campbell.
