Victoria Frances (Pawlowski) Gruskowski

DANVERS – Mrs. Victoria Frances (Pawlowski) Gruskowski 93, of Danvers, beloved wife of the late John Bernard Gruskowski, died peacefully, July 3rd, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Agnes (Szewczyk) Pawlowski. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, class of 1944.

As a young woman, Victoria was employed as an assembler with the General Electric Company of Lynn. For many years, she had worked at the Hunt Nursing Home in Danvers as a housekeeper. She was a loving wife, mother and excellent home maker providing a warm and inviting home for her family and friends. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the apple of her eye and she loved them dearly.

Victoria was a resident of the town of Danvers for over 65 years. She was a caring and loving person who was always there for her family in their time of need. She was an avid polka dancer and along with her husband would attend many dances on the North Shore. Above all else, her family always came first. She will be deeply missed.

Victoria is survived by her son, Kenneth Gruskowski of Rowley, her grandchildren, Melissa Callahan of Peabody, Lynne Gruskowski of Lincoln, N.H., Lisa Kochilaris of Lowell and Sean Kochilaris and his wife Kate of Sandown, NH, her six great grandchildren, Michaela, Tyler, Aaliyah, Olivia, Nora and Grayson and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Diane Kochilaris and Maureen Gruskowski and sister of the late Helen McFadden and Martin and Stanley Pawlowski.

ARRANGEMENTS: A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers.
