Obituary

DANVERS- Mr. William P. Maurice, 55, of Danvers, husband of Michele (Harris) Maurice, died peacefully, August 20, 2016 at Lahey Medical Center, Burlington, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Bellows Falls, Vermont, he was raised in Lynn by his devoted grandmother, Elaine Maurice Peterson and his mom Katie Vigneaux and was a graduate of Ipswich High School.

Mr. Maurice had been employed in the construction industry as a roofer on the North Shore for many years and most recently for Greenworks of Peabody.

Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and was most happy when he was with his children sharing in their many activities. He was a member of the Towne Family Association, was an avid pool player and enjoyed playing Keno. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Surviving him in addition to his wife Michele are his sons, Officer John Bernard, Michael Lindsey, William Maurice Jr., Paul Maurice, Officer Corey MacLean of the United States Navy, William Maurice, and Matthew Maurice, his daughters, Heather MacLean, Shannon MacLean and Alissabeth Maurice, his grandchildren, Mason Maurice, Maverick Lindsey and Bella and Piper Bernard, his siblings, Perry Maurice, Austin Kennett, Brenda Kennett and Joseph Kennett and his longtime dear friends Vic and Dot Eaton.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral Mass was celebrated, Friday, September 9, 2016 at St John the Baptist Church, Peabody. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Rte 62) Danvers. www.odonnellfuneralservice.com .
