DANVERS-Mr. William E. Powers, 50, of Danvers, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday July 14, 2019 at his home.

Born in Boston he was the son of Sheila (Andrews) Powers and the late William F. Powers. He was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School. Bill loved hockey and played for many years in the Youth Hockey League and later played hockey for his high school.

Mr. Powers had been employed for many years in the construction industry throughout the North Shore specializing in heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

A loving son, father and grandfather, Bill relished time spent with his children, being involved in their many activities and lending support whenever needed. He was outgoing, loved to laugh and enjoyed the company of his many friends. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his loving family and many friends.

Surviving Bill in addition to his mother, Sheila Powers of Danvers are his daughters, Rachel Powers of Ipswich and Shayne Powers of Beverly, his son William Powers of Malden and his step-son Christopher Hopper of Gloucester and his grandchildren, Lilly and Bradley.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 12:30 P.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Annunciation Cemetery. Visiting hours prior to the service from 10 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
