IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Albin "Al"
J. Pszenny Ii
June 25, 1962 – February 24, 2025
SALEM – Mr. Albin Joseph Pszenny II, 62, - It is great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, following a long courageous battle with cancer and infections. He is now in the arms of the angels and his beloved parents.
Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Albin J. and Sophia Helen (Stukiel) Pszenny. He was raised and educated in Salem, attended the former St. John the Baptist grammar School and was a graduate of Salem High School, class of 1980. While in high school he was President of the Student Council. He continued his education at Wentworth Institute earning his degree and Peterson School of Engineering.
Mr. Pszenny began his professional career with the former Holyoke Insurance Company in Salem rising in the ranks to become Facilities Manager for over 30 years. He then transitioned to the Salem School Department, where he was currently employed as a custodian until the time of his illness. Professionally, he was well respected for his dedication to his work.
Al was a lifelong resident of the City of Salem and proud of it. He was an avid golfer and made many devoted friends. A tremendously talented woodworker and furniture maker, there wasn't anything Al couldn't build. He made the most intricate and detailed furniture pieces for his family and friends. Truly heirloom works of art. Above all else, Al was a devoted brother and friend, who will be deeply missed and always remembered.
Albin is survived by his loving sisters, Marcia S. Pszenny and Roberta A Pszenny both of Salem, his best friend, John Reardon, his loving dog, Tucker and precious cat, Holly and so many additional friends that he made over the years. He was well loved as a good guy.
