PEABODY – Mrs. Alice (Rauschelbach) Dralle, 98 of Peabody, formerly of Palm Coast, Florida and the loving wife of the late William F. Dralle, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Brooksby Village.
Born in Queens, New York, Alice was the daughter of the late Paul and Carrie (Rohe) Rauschelbach. She was raised and educated in Queens, New York graduating from Newtown High School where she met a young Bill Dralle, her high school sweetheart and lifelong love. Together, they shared 65 years of marriage.
As a young woman, Alice worked in merchandising. As she became a mom, her roles changed and she relished in raising and supporting her growing family. Alice was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished her family.
Alice and Bill and raised their family in Huntington, New York and later in life Bill and Alice relocated to their happy place in Palm Coast, Florida where they enjoyed many rounds of golf and hosting and entertaining their vast group of friends. Alice was a competitive bridge player and enjoyed traveling all over the world with her beloved husband. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving Alice are her daughters, Lynn Lane of Rockport, Sue Dralle of Annapolis, MD, and Carol Ward (Jay)of Acton, ME; her grandchildren, Michael Lane (Stacey), Stephen Lane (Masey), Maggie Diasparra (Joey) and Graham Ward (Mary Caroline); and great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Joey, Jocelyn, Wyland, Evie, Sophie and Rusty.
