Obituary

DORCHESTER – Amy Noelle Courtney, 49 of Dorchester, formerly of Salem passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2025 at her home.

Born in Boston, Amy was the daughter of the late Christine (Courtney) Hill and Leroy "JJ" Wright, III and was raised by her loving step-father, LT. Lorenza E. "Lonnie" Hill. Amy was a graduate of Salem High School and attended classes at Salem State University.

Amy devoted her career to the customer service industry, and most recently worked for Zyp Run as a dispensary dispatcher/delivery coordinator. She greatly enjoyed her work environment and considered it her favorite job.

Though her life was cut short by an accident she was selfless when it came to her love and caring for others. Amy had a big heart that endeared her to many. She loved singing, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends. She had a loving and friendly personality that will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father, Lonnie of Salem and JJ of Lawrence, Amy is survived by her large and loving family consisting of her grandmother, Margaret Wright of Louisville, KY. Her twin sister, Kristin Courtney Wellington and brother-in-law, Rory Wellington of Salem; Brothers, Lorenza "Lonnie" E, Hill II of TX and LT. Spensah L. Hill, United States Navy. Sisters, Devyn, Allannah and Alicia and her nieces and nephews, Nathan, Kobe, Ty, Nyah, Carlisle, Oceanna, Chris, Kyndl, Avairra and Rowan and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to Amy's funeral service which will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 24 St. Peter's St., Salem on Saturday, April 12 at 12:00 P.M. (NOON). Followed by a Celebration of Life at 4 Larkin Lane in Salem, MA.
