Angelly "Angel" Pena

LYNN – Mr. Angelly “Angel” Pena, 43 of Lynn passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at his home.

Born in Boston, Angelly was the son of Gedil A. (Rodriguez) Pena and the late Justiano Pena. He was raised and educated in Salem and attended Salem Public Schools.

Angelly was a loving son, brother and father who loved his family and his many friends. He was kind, respectful and always liked to help others in any way he could. He enjoyed playing and watching basketball and watching television. His big heart and loving personality endeared him to many and he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his mother, Gedil of Salem; Angelly is survived by his daughters, Lanaya Geanoulis, Lillianna Marfongelli and Neveah Pena; his siblings, Elena Pena of Lynn, Julio G. Pena of NH, Julio R. Pena of the Dominican Republic, Jenny Pena of Salem, Liza Pena of Michigan, Henry Hernandez of Lynn and Halison Hernandez and a large extended family consisting of many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to Angelly’s funeral Mass which will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, 17 Chestnut St., Peabody on Wednesday, July 1st at 12 (NOON) with his burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting hours will be held at O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) SALEM on Tuesday, June 30th from 6 to 8 P.M. LYNN – El Sr. Angelly “Angel” Pena, de 43 años y residente de Lynn, falleció inesperadamente el sábado 20 de junio de 2026 en su hogar.

Nacido en Boston, Angelly era hijo de Gedil A. (Rodriguez) Pena y del difunto Justiano Pena. Creció y se educó en Salem, asistiendo a las escuelas públicas de dicha ciudad.

Angelly fue un hijo, hermano y padre cariñoso que amaba a su familia y a sus numerosos amigos. Era una persona amable y respetuosa a la que siempre le gustaba ayudar a los demás en todo lo posible. Disfrutaba jugando y viendo baloncesto, así como viendo la televisión. Su gran corazón y su personalidad cariñosa hicieron que muchas personas le apreciaran; se le extrañará profundamente.

Además de su madre, Gedil (residente de Salem), a Angelly le sobreviven sus hijas: Lanaya Geanoulis, Lillianna Marfongelli y Neveah Pena; sus hermanos: Elena Pena (de Lynn), Julio G. Pena (de New Hampshire), Julio R. Pena (de la República Dominicana), Jenny Pena (de Salem), Liza Pena (de Michigan), Henry Hernandez (de Lynn) y Halison Hernandez; así como una extensa familia compuesta por numerosos sobrinos, tíos, primos y queridos amigos.

DETALLES DEL SERVICIO: Se invita a familiares y amigos a la misa funeral de Angelly, que se celebrará en la iglesia St. John the Baptist (17 Chestnut St., Peabody) el miércoles 1 de julio a las 12:00 del mediodía; posteriormente tendrá lugar el sepelio en el cementerio Pine Grove de Lynn.
