IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ann M.
Smith
April 6, 1960 – February 25, 2023
SALEM – Miss. Ann M. Smith, 62, passed away Saturday, February 25th at CareOne in Randolph. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Stacia (Szikney) Smith.
Annie was an independent house cleaner and caretaker for 30 years, she had a love for helping people. Most of her clients became her friends, she often had that effect on people. She will aways be remembered for her thoughtfulness, for what little she did have she was always willing to share with others. Annie enjoyed the simple things in life, and held close her friends and family- especially her beloved cats over the years.
Annie could often be found by the Beverly Bridge, relaxing and feeding the seagulls. She found great solace in grabbing a coffee, bag of bread for the gulls, and taking in the beauty of the Beverly Harbor. Annie was known to enjoy a few cold beers, a cigarette, and a good game of poker with family and friends, where laughter filled the room. Annie was happiest when making others happy and had a wonderful sense of humor. We will miss her warm heart and laughter.
Annie in survived by her siblings; Kathleen Downey and her husband Paul of Beverly, Maureen Smith of Salem, Steve Smith of Salem, and Barbara Smith of Rockport, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Frank Smith.
