NORTH ANDOVER – Mr. Anthony John "Tony" Cicero, 82 of North Andover, formerly of East Boston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Lahey Hospital in Burlington with his family by his side.
Anthony was born at home on September 27, 1942 in East Boston to his late immigrant parents, Bartolo and Emanuela (Luongo) Cicero. He considered East Boston his home, the city where he settled down with the love of his life Dorothea (Houghton) Cicero and raised his family.
With a detailed eye, Tony devoted his professional career with Boston University where he helped maintain the buildings and grounds for over 25 years. In addition to his career at Boston University, Tony held many jobs to support his family, including his talent of spray painting especially on large trucks.
An adventurous and young soul, Tony loved life! A true night owl, Tony thrived at night. He treasured spending time to Revere Beach with his wife and daughter enjoying a meal at Kellys or Bianchi's. He was a kind and loving man who enjoyed the simple things in life and loved his family. He and Dorothea enjoyed the many adventures of life and at the end, he tirelessly cared for her through her illness until her very final days. He was loving, kind and fun and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
