DANVERS – Arnold Porter Sholler, 89, passed away on June 3rd, 2024 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House after a brief illness.

Arnold was born in Oakfield, Maine on March 1st, 1935 to parents Morrill E. Sholler and Ruby (Porter) Sholler. In 1938 Arnold moved to Danvers, MA where he would raise a family and reside for over 70 years. He was educated in the Danvers school system including the former Putnamville School. He was employed by GTE Sylvania (Danvers) for over 32 years and was a member of the Sylvania Quarter Century Club.

Arnold had a love of Maine, hiking, canoeing and the general outdoors which he shared with his children. He is the husband of the late Judith (Fears) Sholler and the late Sally (Adams-Palmer) Sholler. He is survived by his five children; Maureen (Peter) Burke of Haverhill, MA, Cynthia Sholler of Danvers, MA, Brian Sholler of Raymond, NH, Gary Sholler of South Portland, ME, Cheryl (Michael) Bucior of Old Lyme, CT as well as multiple nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He is also survived by his step-children; Shari Palmer, Laurie (Palmer) Portera, Burton Palmer, Susan (Palmer) Laur and is predeceased by Dr. Glenn (Mike) Palmer. Arnold was predeceased by his sisters, Donna Tondreault and Susan Keohane. He is survived by his sister, Karlene Neuville and brother-in-law, Richard Keohane.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend Arnold's funeral service which will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS on Friday, June 7th at 12 P.M. (Noon). Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. A visiting hour will be held prior to his service from 11 A.M. to 12 NOON.
