SALEM – Ms. Barbara Lee (Buonfiglio) Pelletier of Salem, 69, cherished daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away on June 8th, 2025 at Care One in Beverly with her loving family by her side.

Born in Revere, Barbara was the daughter of Marie Ann (Tangusso) Buonfiglio of Salem and the late Paul Nicholas Buonfiglio. She was raised and educated in Salem, graduating from Salem High School as a member of the class of 1973. Barbara dedicated her professional career to health care billing at Partners Health Care / Salem Hospital. She also had been associated with the City of Salem School Department at both Horace Mann Lab School and Salem High School. In addition, she volunteered for many years with Salem Pop Warner football.

More than anything, Barbara loved her family - she was described by those closest to her as truly generous, having a great sense of humor and always willing to advocate for her own. Family and friends will forever remember Barbara for her vibrant 4th of July parties, always filled with fun, laughter, great food and most importantly those she loved. They were a well-attended and a significant Buonfiglio family tradition. Barbara's generosity, good, sometimes sarcastic sense of humor and utter dedication to her family leave an everlasting mark on all who have encountered her.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Danielle Lee St. Pierre and her partner, Thomas Kendrick of Salem; her mother, Marie Buonfiglio; her grandchildren, Dante and Alia Kendrick of Salem; her siblings, Diane O'Donnell and her husband Henry of Salem, Susan Standley and her husband Jack of Beverly, John Buonfiglio of Salem, Richard Buonfiglio and his wife Priscilla of Salem and Paula Tassinari and her partner Dave Riddle of Salem; her nieces and nephews, Andrew, Michael and Lia Buonfiglio, Carlos O'Donnell, Liliana Bredice, Jay and Kipp Standley, Suzanne Stumph, Rebecca Bitner and Jessica Tassinari and several great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her father, Barbara was predeceased by her beloved son, Thomas St. Pierre, Jr. and her sister-in-law, Cynthia Buonfiglio.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral services will be privately held. Assisting the family with the arrangements is O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) SALEM. Donations in Barbara's memory may be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association .
