IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Barbara Ann
(Mcnulty) Woodbury
November 9, 1940 – June 13, 2025
PEABODY - Barbara Ann (McNulty) Woodbury, 84, of Peabody, Massachusetts, passed away on June 13, 2025.
Barbara was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 9, 1940, to James and Gertrude McNulty. Barbara lived most of her life in Massachusetts and Florida. She was the beloved wife of Rick Woodbury, with whom she shared nearly 70 devoted years of marriage—a true testament to enduring love and partnership.
Barbara was the proud mother to five children, Barbara McKane, Mark and his wife Rebekah, Rachel Ellinwood and her husband William, and was predeceased by daughters Ellen and Rebecca. She was a cherished grandmother to 13 grandchildren and their partners, and a doting great-grandmother to 10 great-grandchildren. She is also lovingly remembered by her brothers James McNulty and Laurence McNulty (and his partner Susan Misler); nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her brother Michael McNulty.
Barbara worked for many years as a waitress, where her warmth and humor touched countless lives. Her joy came not from accolades, but from the simple and meaningful moments she spent with her loved ones. She had a deep affection for musicals, word puzzles, and a good cup of coffee—always best when shared.
Barbara was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1968, and her faith remained a guiding force throughout her life. She loved the hope for the future that she learned from the Bible and telling others about those Bible truths and sharing with others her hope for an earthly paradise.
Above all, Barbara's greatest love was her family. She was always there to support her family and will be remembered for her kindness and her unwavering generosity. Barbara's memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return.
