IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Beverly Lee
(Cabral) Raimondi
April 10, 1936 – February 27, 2024
DANVERS – Mrs. Beverly Lee (Cabral) Raimondi, 87 of Danvers and the loving wife of the late, Attorney Lorenzo A. "Larry" Raimondi, who preceded her in death 12 days prior, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers with her devoted family by her side.
Born in Somerville, Beverly was the daughter of the late James and Alice M. (Bumpus) Cabral. She was raised in Somerville and educated in Cambridge, graduating from Cambridge High and Latin in 1954.
As a young woman, Beverly worked as a clerk for the New England Telephone Company. It was on a ski trip that Beverly would meet her future husband, Larry. Together they shared over 62 years of marriage, creating a beautiful family and legacy.
Beverly flourished in being a devoted wife and supportive mother. She was known for her love for family, passion for cooking for others, and dedication to maintaining a welcoming home. Beverly's warm and supportive nature endeared her to all who knew her, whether family or friends. Her presence lit up any room, and her outgoing spirit inspired those around her.
Her supportive and caring nature touched the lives of many in the numerous organizations she involved herself in, such as her commitment to the Danvers Garden Club where she served as the past president, the St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish community where she taught CCD, the former Danvers Voting Precinct 5 where she served as warden, the Danvers local cub scout troop where she served as den mother, and the Danvers Historical Society where she formed many friendships.
As an adventurous traveler, Beverly found joy in exploring the world with her beloved husband, visiting Egypt, East Asia, the Holy Lands and many other places, creating cherished memories along the way. As the backbone of the family, she ensured that her husband, sons, mother, and sister-in-law were cared for. Beverly loved to bowl, tend to her garden alongside her husband or simply sit down with a homemade meal in the presence of her loving family. She will be greatly missed.
Beverly is survived by her sons, Lawrence Raimondi of North Reading, Robert Raimondi and his wife, Debra Belle Raimondi of Groveland and Paul Raimondi and his wife, Cheryl of Gloucester; her grandchildren, Peter and Holly Raimondi, Jenna Nolan and Joseph Raimondi and Eric and Abby Raimondi; her beloved 4 great-grandchildren; her sister, Alice Pynn of Hopkinton and many nieces and nephews.
