(Raymond) Banville
June 30, 1942 – July 5, 2024
MARBLEHEAD – Ms. Beverly A. (Raymond) Banville, 82 of Marblehead passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5th, 2024, at the Lafayette Rehabilitation in Marblehead.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, Beverly was the daughter of the late Ralph Raymond and Alice (Arsenault) Barthe. She was raised and educated in Salem and attended Salem State College School of Nursing where she earned her bachelor's degree, becoming a registered nurse
Beverly devoted her career to nursing, first starting her profession in the Neonatal Department, assisting in bringing new life into the world. She would later work at various hospitals around the North Shore, ending her career as a hospice nurse, helping her patients transition from this world in comfort.
In retirement, Beverly found solace and inspiration in the great outdoors, particularly in the serene landscapes of Limerick and Shapleigh, Maine where she resided. Beverly had a green thumb and maintained an immaculate vegetable and flower garden, where she found joy in watching her plants bloom and flourish. Her passion for the environment extended to her love for animals, especially her beloved dogs who brought her endless companionship and joy. When she wasn't finding solace in her garden, she found comfort through art, creating beautiful quilts, drawings, and paintings that captured the essence of the natural world she cherished. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and dear friends.
Surviving Beverly is her son, Christopher Banville of Ipswich, her daughters, Renee Davis of Sanford, ME and Michelle Braillard and her husband, Walter of Hamilton; her grandchildren, Margot, Hadley and Rex Braillard.
