LYNN – Mr. Calvin Joel Pena 26, of Lynn, died unexpected, following a long battle with many health complications on November 17th, 2023 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Born in Salem, he was the son of Yarilis Mercedes Guerrero and Napoleon Pena. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Mission Park High School in Boston.

Mr. Pena was currently employed in the utility and transportation industry as a driver for Fenney Brothers Utility Services of Boston and the Northeast corridor of the United States.

Calvin was a loving father, companion, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was truly dedicated and devoted to his family and friends. He had a large network of friends and always relished spending time with them. His calming, "chill" personality and nature put everyone at ease. He was quick to smile and to help those in need, endearing himself to others. Calvin loved to spend his time riding his motorcycle especially with his friends and cousins. He took great pride in his personalizing his car and had a passion for keeping it "fresh". He loved going for a cruse with his bachata music on full blast. Above all else, he was happiest when in the company of his family. He will be forever missed and always remembered.

Calvin is survived by his twin 3-year-olds, Calvin and Scarlett Suarez Pena, his companion and partner, Ruth Suarez of Lynn, his mother, Yarilis Guerrero of Methuen, his father, Napoleon Pena of the Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, his sister, Elayne, his brothers, Jamie, Adrian and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service which will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St.., (rte 62) DANVERS, Saturday, Dec. 9th at 6 P.M.
