MIDDLETON – Eric Davidson, 49, of Middleton, beloved husband of Heather (Drake) Davidson, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Danvers, Eric was the son of William Davidson and Judith (Fox) Davis. He was raised and educated in Peabody, graduating with the Class of 1995 from Peabody High School. Eric went on to earn his Bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Eric proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps. Following his service, he pursued his lifelong passion for aviation and worked as a commercial airline pilot.
Eric lived life to the fullest and had a deep love for adventure and the outdoors. He enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time in nature, especially during the summertime. For several years, he even owned and operated a small farm in Missouri, where he raised goats, sheep, chickens, and other animals.
Above all, Eric was a devoted and loving father. His son, Robert, was his greatest joy, and he treasured every moment spent with him. He will be remembered not only for his adventurous spirit and warm heart, but also for the unconditional love and guidance he gave to Robert and his stepsiblings.
Eric is survived by his wife, Heather (Drake) Davidson, his son, Robert Kenneth Davidson, six loving step-children, his parents, William Davidson and Judith (Fox) Davis, his step-father, Michael Davis, his step-mother, Nancy Davidson, his sisters, Erin Mota and Heidi Isidro, his nieces and nephews, Michelle Davidson, Jacob Goodman, Gavin Mota, Kim Trianito, Dominic Isidro, and Olivia Isidro, as well as extended family and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to Eric's funeral service which will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 10 A.M. His burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery, 82 Maple St., Middleton. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 27, 2025 from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M.
