SALEM – Mrs. Catherine A. Julien, beloved wife, mother, and sister passed away Tuesday, September 13th, 2022 .

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Francis and Joan (St Charles) Pelletier. Cathy was the caring wife of Michael Lear, with whom she celebrated 13 years of marriage and 23 years of memories and love.

Catherine was a true Salem girl, attending Salem High School and Northshore Community College. She worked in the restaurant business and served at Bertini's. Cathy enjoyed spending time with her family, having large gatherings, and was known for her cooking; especially when her teams were playing. Cathy was an avid Bruins and Patriots fan. She will be remembered for her loving nature, and good humor- always putting her family above all and putting a smile on other's faces.

In addition to her loving husband, Michael, Catherine is survived by her two daughters; Rachel Julien of Long Beach, CA and Sarah Julien of Beverly, her father Francis Pelletier of Middleton, and three sisters; Julie Rutkowski and her husband Joe of Nashua, NH, Regina Penney and her husband Kevin of Hampton, NH, and Paula Lemiesz and her husband George Knowlton of Salem. She is preceded in death by her mother Joan Pelletier and her sister Nicole Pelletier.

(at Salem Common) SALEM, on Saturday, Sept 17th from 12 to 4 P.M.
