IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles Larosa,
Jr.
February 2, 1951 – March 18, 2022
DANVERS – Charles "Charlie" LaRosa, Jr. was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 18, 2022.
Charlie was born to the late Charles LaRosa Sr. and Lillian (Ciulla) LaRosa on February 2, 1951. He was raised with two brothers and two sisters in Everett, MA. He was a noted athlete who attended Everett High School. After graduating in 1969, he worked as an electrical inspector for the MBTA for over thirty years. Charlie met the love his life, Peggy, and they were married in 1977. They moved to Danvers where they raised three beautiful children: Charlie, Shauna and Kimberly.
Charlie's family, friends and colleagues universally agreed that he was the most honorable man they knew. His incredible work ethic was only outdone by his never-ending devotion to his family. His warm heart, infectious laugh, and extraordinary selflessness enriched the lives of everyone around him.
Charlie enjoyed spending time outdoors and being active. He loved to travel with Peggy, especially on Caribbean cruises due to his fondness of the ocean and boating. He enjoyed gardening and took pride in sharing it with family, friends, and neighbors. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching Boston sports with his family, particularly the New England Patriots on Sundays. Most importantly, Charlie cherished every moment spent raising his children and watching with pride as they became his wonderful legacy.
Charlie's final years were defined by courage and strength. He battled illness without fear, and never wavered in the face of adversity. Peggy spent every day by his side, a testament to their true love and commitment to each other.
