Obituary

PEABODY – Mrs. Cheryl Anne (LeBrun) Morin, 63, of Peabody, beloved wife of the late Paul David "Mozie" Morin and longtime loving companion of Richard Fermon, died unexpectedly, Sunday, June 16th, 2024 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

Born in Saugus, she was the daughter of the late Joseph LeBrun and Mary Conners. She was raised and educated in Salem and attended Salem Schools.

Mrs. Morin began her professional career at Interstate Electric and worked there for many years. She had also been employed in the restaurant industry for many years. She was the long time Bar Manager of the former Tanners Café of Peabody and more recently had been associated with Petrillo's Restaurant in Peabody as a waitress until the time of her retirement.

Cheryl was an outgoing and caring person. She relished time spent socializing with friends as a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division #18 in Salem and A.O.H Division #11 in Peabody. She also had been a member of the former Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #218 in Salem. Active civically, Cheryl volunteered for many years raising funds and working on charitable drives for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and other children's charities. She enjoyed cooking, arts & crafts and music. Above all else, she was devoted to her family. After the passing of her beloved husband, she created a long and loving relationship with her best friend and companion Dickie. They spent 15 years together, enjoying life and supporting one another through all of life's encounters. They were a great couple. She will be forever missed and always remembered for her caring nature.

Cheryl is survived by her companion Richard Fermon of Peabody, her sister, Robin DeOliveira and her husband, Daniel of Beverly, her brother, Edward LeBrun and his husband, Frank Bergmann of Salem, Her nieces and nephews, Manny Ataide and his wife, Erin of Peabody, Matthew Conners and his fiancé, Emily Lacourse of Salem, Ian Conners and his wife, Nicole of Peabody and Erika Conners of Beverly, her great nieces and great nephews, Avery, Ashton and Liam, her brother-in-law, Glenn Taylor and extended family and friends. She was the sister of the late Donna Taylor.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service which will be held, graveside, in St. Mary's Cemetery, North St., Salem, Thursday, June 20th at 12:30 P.M.
