Cheryl L. (Hough) Sullivan

WEARE, NEW HAMPSHIRE – Mrs. Cheryl L. (Hough) Sullivan, 59 of Weare, New Hampshire and the loving wife of John J. Sullivan passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7th, 2026 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston with her loving family by her side.

Born in Boston on November 5, 1966, Cheryl was the daughter of the late James and Patricia (Fenton) Hough. She was raised and educated in Stoughton and Andover, attending Stoughton Public Schools for her early education, graduating from Greater Lawrence Technical School in Andover.

As a young woman, Cheryl took the skills she learned and developed in high school and started her professional working career as an office clerk. Cheryl’s niche for work, landed her in the offices of the auto body industry until her transition to the medical field, where for the last 6 years, she worked from home as a clerk for a doctor’s office.

Cheryl was happiest when with her family and friends, sharing in good conversations and laugher. She loved traveling to warm places, often visiting the tropics of the Caribbean and any place with a beach. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her beloved husband John with whom she shared nearly 25 years of marriage, Cheryl is survived by her sons, Shane and Brendan Sullivan of Weare, NH, her sister, Patricia Tartaglia of Weare, NH; beloved niece, Nicole Tartaglia of Weare, NH and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Cheryl was predeceased by her brothers, Richie and Dale Hough and her dear nephew, Johnny Tartaglia.
