DANVERS - Mrs. Christine L. Matthews, 57, of Danvers passed away Monday, February 14th, 2022 in Hunt Nursing and Rehab Center, following a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.

Born in Kittery, Maine, she was the daughter of Wilbur and Roberta (McGuire) Goins. Christine was the wife of Wayne Matthews, with whom she celebrated 25 years of marriage.

Christine graduated from Endicott College with an Associates Degree in Business. She went on to be a full-time mother, raising her twins, Jill and Adam. In her spare time, she enjoyed scrapbooking and baking, and was very involved with the Mothers of Northshore Multiples.

In addition to her loving husband, Wayne, Christine is survived by her two children; Adam Jordan Matthews of Northbridge, and Jillian Mae Matthews of Danvers, along with her father, Wilbur Goins.
