TEWKSBURY - Mrs. Clare (Youtz) Alex 88, of Tewksbury, formerly of Salem, beloved wife of the late Daniel G. Alex, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 4th, 2023.

Clare was born in Lebanon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Sadie (Reich) Youtz.

Clare was a beloved mother and friend, who had a ready smile for everyone she met. Her kindness and humor will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

Surviving Clare are her daughters, Jennifer Alex of Tewksbury and Stephanie Alex of Haverhill, her sister, Anne of Grantville, PA, and her brother, Bob of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her daughters of the heart, Jenna Gerber Derr of Pennsylvania, Dyann Dorgan of Brockton, and Danielle Hazelwood of Rhode Island and her beloved cats, Zoe, Sage, and Amber.
