TOPSFIELD – Mr. Damon C. Moore, 71, of Topsfield passed away Monday, March 7th. Born in Melrose he was the son of Damon E. and Josephine F. (Mattatall) Moore.

Mr. Moore lived in Saugus, where he graduated from Saugus High School before going on to earn an Engineering degree at Tufts University. After graduating, he went on to follow in his father's footsteps, and in 1972 became President and owner of Water Works Supply Corp. In 1977 Damon made the move to Topsfield, where he has since resided.

Damon was a long time member of the Freemasons with the Sutton Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Saugus. He loved music, enjoyed playing darts and cribbage and was an avid follower of Boston sports teams. He was a passionate and well respected businessman who was generous to the community he loved.

Damon is survived by his daughters; Jessica D. Iorio and husband Matthew of Foxborough, and Jaime L. Cromer and husband William of Charleston, SC, and son; D. Chad Moore and wife Katherine of Denver, CO. Along with grandchildren; Maxwell, Eli, Trevor, Kiley, William, Ella, and Ivy. Damon is also survived by his former spouse, Meredith J. Moore.

ARRANGEMENTS – There will be a gathering in tribute for friends and colleagues of the water and sewer industry on May 6th from 4 P.M. - 7 P.M. at Prince Pizza,  517 Broadway, Saugus, MA 01906 . Graveside services will be private.
