SALEM - Dawn Marie Connor (Walsh), 66, beloved wife of William Connor, passed away peacefully on September 16th, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Dana and Sandra (Cazzara) Walsh.

Dawn attended Salem High School and later pursued a career as a home health aide, she was passionate about caring for others in her community and also volunteered her time at the Bertram House.

Above all Dawn cared for her family.  This role she carried out with unwavering dedication and love. Her culinary talents were unrivaled. She cooked with pure instinct, never once relying on measurements. Meatballs of the world will never be the same. Her stubborn nature only added to her charm, adding a touch of resilience to her personality. In her leisure time she could be found crocheting, enjoying bingo nights or testing her luck at the casino.

In addition to her parents Dawn is predeceased by her daughter in law, Cyndi Martel, brother, Michael Walsh and step mother, Yvonne "Bonnie" Walsh. She is survived by her husband of 37 years William "Bill" Connor; her children, Tara Healey, Danielle Martel, Christopher Connor and his wife, Savannah, Jessica Martel, Daniel "Danny" Connor; her grandchildren, Cassandra Healey, Trevor Healey, Christopher Connor II, Ava Connor, Hailey Connor, Ren Martel, Ianna Martel, Hunter Martel, Tessa Martel; her nieces, but really the granddaughters of her heart, Alysia, Ayla & Avery Walsh, her nephew, Matthew Lloyd and many more nieces and nephews; her siblings, Dana Walsh Jr. and  his wife, Keriann, Christine Lloyd and her husband, George also Laurie, Paul and Teri.
