Obituary

DANVERS – Mrs. Debra Gale (Middleton) Orlandella, 66 of Danvers, loving wife of the late Theodore Orlandella, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House with her loving family by her side.

Born in Haverhill, Debra was the daughter of the late Edward and Theresa (Gwiazda) Middleton. She was raised in Danvers, receiving her education at Beverly School for The Deaf and continued her high school education, graduating from Newton North High School.

As a Paraprofessional, Debra worked at the Beverly School for The Deaf and the Northeast Arc Group Homes for over 10 years. Debra dedicated herself to her students and was passionate about the Deaf Community. She attended as many Deaf events as she could and had many fond memories of Deaf Club where she met her late husband, Theodore. In 2012, Debra's health issues prevented her from continuing her profession and her devoted daughter and family cared for her until her final days.

A self-proclaimed foodie, Debra loved all the New England classics especially fried clams and lobster, frequenting several North Shore seafood establishments. In her youth, Debra loved to roller skate and was very talented. She continued to stay active by playing softball and bowling. Throughout life, Debra enjoyed camping with her family and appreciating the outdoors, enjoying nature, going deep sea fishing or white-water rafting. Debra was happiest when vacationing with her late husband and many dear friends, to the warm tropics of Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Aruba. Above all else, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her devoted family and many friends.

Debra is survived by her children, Tim Holloran of Orlando, FL, Jaime (Holloran) Ledoux and her husband, Jayson of Danvers and Ryan Orlandella of MA; her grandchildren, Colin Jones and Teddi Ledoux of Danvers; her siblings, Marianne Ray of Brunswick, ME and Richard Middleton of Haverhill and nieces and nephews, Michael Ray, Christopher Ray, Bethany Davison, Jessica Caruso and Edward Middleton.
