SALEM - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennise Cleary Piemonte, 70, who passed away peacefully on the morning of October 14th, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Dennise is survived by her devoted husband, Paul Piemonte, and beloved son, Joseph Piemonte, along with daughter-in-law Michaela Piemonte and granddog Caddie. She also leaves behind her beloved siblings, Brian Cleary, Chris Cleary, and Maura Cleary Mailloux, who will carry on her spirit in their hearts.

Daughter of Cecilia and Donald, Dennise spent her childhood living in a number of towns across Massachusetts, finally settling in Chelmsford where she graduated from Chelmsford High. After marrying Paul in 1982 in Salem, they spent the next chapter in their life renovating a home from the 1700s on Lowell Street in Peabody. Later moving to Litchfield, New Hampshire, they raised their son, Joe. Dennise was very involved in the community notably becoming PTA president along with supporting all of her son's sports and clubs.

Dennise loved her extended family and always supported others when needed and was known to never miss a birthday text to her nieces and nephews. At the end of 2023, she began a long and difficult battle against lung cancer. Despite a tough prognosis from her doctors, she let every single one of them know that she will be attending her son's wedding in August 2024. When that night came, she danced the night away and celebrated with the people that meant the most to her in life while smiling ear to ear to help leave lasting memories for all who knew her dearly.

She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

ARRANGEMENTS: A celebration of Dennise's life will be held on Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at Noon at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem, MA. A private burial will take place at Harmony Grove Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to American Cancer Society - www.cancer.org .
