LYNN – Mr. Dioby "Carlos" Garcia Torres, 35 of Lynn, loving husband of Saby Kamalix Liriano Gonzalez, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4th, 2025 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers with his wife by his side.

Born in Mao, Valverde, Dominican Republic, Carlos was the son of Jamie Garcia and the late Ana Cristina Torres Martinez and step-son of the late Gilberto Nunez. He was raised and educated in the Dominican Republic until moving to the United States as young man, living in Brooklyn, New York at first and later Peabody where he continued his education and started his professional career.

Carlos dedicated his working career creating connections at Main Street Barber shop where he was the proprietor, owner and a skilled barber. His time on Main Street in Peabody allowed him to meet many people, clients and friends creating lasting connections and many friendships.

Aside from devoting many hours at the Barber Shop, Carlos loved traveling to the Dominican Republic where he visited his home. He loved spending time at the Beach both in Massachusetts and the Dominican Republic and will be fondly remembered for his deep love of fried fish. In his free time, Carlos enjoyed playing pool and games of chance with many scratch tickets and a hopeful outlook. A loving and devoted family man and friend, Carlos will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, Saby of Lynn; Carlos is survived by his children, Jadiel, Carlos, Janalyse and Adeline; his 3 sisters and 3 brothers and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to Carlos' funeral Mass which will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 115 Union St., Lynn on Monday, September 15th at 11 A.M. with his burial to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lynn. LYNN – El Sr. Dioby "Carlos" Garcia Torres, de 35 años, residente de Lynn, esposo amoroso de Saby Kamalix Liriano Gonzalez, falleció pacíficamente el jueves 4 de septiembre de 2025 en la Casa de Hospicio Familiar Kaplan en Danvers, con su esposa a su lado.

Nacido en Mao, Valverde, República Dominicana, Carlos era hijo de Jamie Garcia y de la difunta Ana Cristina Torres Martinez, y hijastro del difunto Gilberto Nunez. Creció y se educó en la República Dominicana hasta que se mudó a los Estados Unidos como un joven, viviendo primero en Brooklyn, Nueva York y luego en Peabody, donde continuó su educación y comenzó su carrera profesional.

Carlos dedicó su carrera laboral a crear conexiones en la barbería Main Street, donde fue el propietario, dueño y un habilidoso barbero. Su tiempo en Main Street en Peabody le permitió conocer a muchas personas, clientes y amigos, creando conexiones duraderas y muchas amistades.

Además de dedicar muchas horas en la Barbería, a Carlos le encantaba viajar a la República Dominicana donde visitó su hogar. Le encantaba pasar tiempo en la playa tanto en Massachusetts como en la República Dominicana y será recordado con cariño por su profundo amor por el pescado frito. En su tiempo libre, Carlos disfrutaba jugar al billar y juegos de azar con muchos boletos de raspadito y una mirada esperanzadora. Como un hombre de familia amoroso y devoto y amigo, Carlos será profundamente extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron y lo amaron.

Además de su esposa, Saby de Lynn; Carlos le sobreviven sus hijos, Jadiel, Carlos, Janalyse y Adeline; sus 3 hermanas y 3 hermanos, y varios sobrinos y sobrinas.

ARREGLOS: Se invita a familiares y amigos a la misa fúnebre de Carlos que se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Católica de San José, 115 Union St., Lynn el lunes 15 de septiembre a las 11 A.M. con su entierro que seguirá.
