DANVERS - Mr. Donald A. "Don" Caron 72, of Danvers, beloved husband of Margaret "Peggy" (Kingston) Caron, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington surrounded by his family. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Donald B. and Marie (Mallard) Caron. He was raised and educated in Peabody, he was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School. Mr. Caron was the founder and proprietor of Donald A. Caron Modernizing - a building and construction company, until the time of his retirement. A loving and devoted family man, Don dedicated his life to his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a car enthusiast, especially for his Corvette. Don and Peg were known to take long drives to nowhere on a beautiful sunny day. He was a member of the Corvette Club for many years, yet above all else his family always came first. He was a proud father, a loving grandfather and dedicated great grandfather and will be remembered for his love of his wife "Cookie" his keen sense of humor, his never aging looks and his devotion to his family, he will be deeply missed. Don and Peg will always be remembered for having the "Greatest Love Story!" Don is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Margaret "Peggy" (Kingston) Caron of Danvers, his daughters, Rhonda Hayes and her fiancé Douglas LeBoeuf of Danvers and Leslie Caron of Danvers, his grandchildren, Amanda and her husband Joe, Danielle and her boyfriend Jay, Steven, Michael and Lindsey and her boyfriend Derin, his great grandchildren, Hayden and Jolene, his sister, Jerrie Clark and her husband Jimmy of Beverly and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Matthew Caron and brother of the late Richard Caron.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte. 62) Danvers, Sunday, April 29th at 4 P.M. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours prior to the service from 1 to 4 P.M. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave., Waltham, MA 02451.
