Donna E. (Riley) Wilkins

MIDDLETON – Donna E. Wilkins, 75, beloved wife of Dana Wilkins passed away peacefully at home on October 30, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the Late James F. and Eleanor (Bourque) Riley.

Born and raised in Salem, Donna was educated in the city and was a proud graduate of Ste. Chrétienne Academy, class of 1969. She went on to attend Salem State University before beginning a career with New England Telephone Company, which later became Verizon. Over 32 years with the company, she built a reputation as a dedicated and tireless employee, retiring most recently as a Central Office Technician.

Her commitment extended beyond her own job. Donna was a proud supporter of her fellow workers and served as a Union Steward for IBEW Local 2321, where she stood up for others with the same fearlessness that defined her.

Outside of work, Donna found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed lunch dates with her friends, shopping with her grandchildren, and celebrating birthdays and holidays with family. Christmastime was her favorite time of year, and she loved hosting the family Christmas Eve parties. Many cherished memories were made and remembered by all who attended.

She was a funny, kind, fearless woman, and a proud and loving Wife, Mother, Meemaw, and Gamma. Her family and friends will miss her dearly.

Donna is survived by her husband, Dana Wilkins of Middleton, her daughter, Tracey Wilkins and her spouse Peter Lockhart of Middleton, her son, Andrew Wilkins of Newton, NH, her grandchildren, Alisha Wilkins and her fiancé Chris Morse, James Lockhart, and Scott Wilkins, and her great granddaughter, Noraleigh Morse.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to Donna’s funeral service to take place on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 11 A.M. at O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple Street, DANVERS. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Oakdale Cemetery, 82 Maple Street, Middleton.
