SALEM – Dora Marie (Robichaud) Cyr, 84, of Salem, formerly of Fitchburg, longtime companion of the late Alan Morneau, entered eternal rest on March 8th, 2025 in Peabody.

Born in Fitchburg, Dora was the daughter of the late Valerie and Delia (Cormier) Robichaud. Dora was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her. She was raised and educated in Fitchburg and Salem.

Dora dedicated her life to her family and her career. After high school, she embarked on a fulfilling journey, sharing her talents with employers such as Parker Brothers, Sylvania, and Analogic. Her dedication and work ethic served as a strong foundation for her family's values.

Dora's love for life was evident in her many passions. She found joy in the kitchen, delighting her family with home-cooked meals that brought them together. A devoted card player, she cherished her trips to Foxwoods, always ready to share a laugh and create memories with those she loved. Her affection for dogs and her close-knit family further enriched her life, encompassing her unwavering spirit and kindness.

In addition to her parents and companion, Dora is predeceased by her brother, Joseph Robichaud, and her sister, Theresa Bates.

Dora is survived by her sons, Michael Cyr and his wife, Carmela of Salem, Steven Cyr of Quincy, and Mark Cyr of Salem, her sisters, Marie Beausoliel of Florida, and Rita LaPage and her husband, Tom of Florida, her grandchildren, Jessica Cyr, Tara Cyr, Michael Cyr, and Crystal Hutchison, her great grandchildren, Tommy, Charlotte, Bailey, and Shawn, the father of her children, Philip Cyr, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
